The resort of Magalluf is only 15km west of Palma and the airport. The transfer time is about half an hour.

The resort is ideal for the younger holiday maker looking for a lively atmosphere and entertaining nightlife, with clubs open all through the night. During the summer season all the bars are in full swing and busy every night, while out of season the bars are mainly open only on the weekends and it attracts more middle aged couples and is quieter.

The resort also appeals to families and there are many interests and activities for children. The beach is large and sandy and is cleaned every night, activities include watersports and glass bottom boat trips.

Along the seafront there is a promenade with shops, bars and restaurants. Other activities in Magalluf include a giant water park, and themed western and prirate advanture parks.
