The Canary islands, which are part of Spain have a wonderful climate and constant temperature throughout the year, and splendid beaches of fine sand, consists of 7 larger islands.
They are mainly made up of seven islands, these are Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, Tenerife, La Palma, Gomera and Hierro.
The shortest distance between these islands and Africa is 115 Km. Direct flights from Madrid take a little over two hours. Every island, with the exception of Gomera, has airports for national and international flights.
