Almera is a province of southern Spain, in the eastern part of the autonomous community of Andalusia.
It offers 200 miles of scenic coastline that attracts tourists to the popular resorts on the coastline, but also offers idyllic spots for nature-lovers to explore. It has many unspoilt fishing villages, long sandy beaches and small intimate coves.
Most resorts have a selection of cafes, bars and restaurants but most of the evening entertainment is hotel based. A livelier nightlife can be found in Roquetas de Mar which has a good selection of cafes, bars and beachfront discos.
